Foundational aspects of health, so simple it seems they can’t make a difference but if one is off for an extended period of time it can cause an imbalance that leads to chronic disease. After nearly 2 decades of teaching about holistic health, I have found most people simply lack the understanding of how our bodies physiologically work. Foundations in health focus on the value of sleep, exercise, nutrition & digestion, breathing, hydration and personal fulfillment. These simple concepts, when not engaged, lower our quality of life in dramatic yet often overlooked ways. Lowered energy, lack of focus, lowered immunity, lowered metabolism, can all be caused by a variety of issues, but the fundamental source is lack of self-care. All who seek a higher quality of life should have access to the information needed and it’s not as difficult or extensive as we are often told.
